Foundations

Your permanent Handy Hut will be built on a slab foundation or block and fill. In deciding between the two we consider customer preference, construction costs, build times, land elevations, and structural requirements. We utilize rebar and fiber in all foundation concrete pours to help strengthen your foundation.

How We Build Handy Huts!

Framing

All walls are a minimum of 9' tall and framed on 16" centers with mid-wall blocking. Exterior walls are 7/16th OSB sheathing and wrapped in house wrap. Roof Systems are stick framed or trusses depending on plan and size.

Exterior Finishes

We offer a variety of Vinyl, Hardie Siding, Brick, and Stone to complete the exterior of your Handy Hut. Garage Doors, exterior doors, and lighting are all options to select as well.

Interior Finishes

Handy Huts offers 3 levels of interior Completion.

A. "Shell Only" - The exterior is completed with no electrical, plumbing, or interior rough-in or finishes.

B. "Vanilla Envelope" - Interior Rough electrical, plumbing, HVAC, Insulation, Drywall finished with one coat of primer.

C. "Turn Key" - Complete project Exterior and Interior to customer selections.
